Ranger Rick's Geocache Trails
Be Out There! Ranger Rick and his pals have gone high-tech, establishing a special game of hide and seek. Geocaching is a treasure hunting game, played around the world, using a GPS device or smartphone app. The Tennessee Aquarium will have five official locations on Ranger Rick’s Geocache Trails. Follow the clues, find the treasure and stamp your downloadable passport with your paw stamp after you discover which one of Ranger Rick’s animal friends found it first. Learn more about geocaching.
You'll search for the GPS coordinates that will lead you to the special prizes at each location. Ranger Rick clue cards will be stored in each geocache along the trail. Families will learn about nature and wildlife along Ranger Rick’s Geocache Trail in Chattanooga and across the country.
Finally, families can share their experiences online with fellow geocachers through the National Wildlife Federation and Geocaching.com sites.
