Microplastics in the Environment Workshop
One of the great challenges in managing microplastics pollution is understanding spatial and temporal variation in the relative contribution of riverine and marine microplastics to pollution loads. The Tennessee Aquarium and River Basin Center at the University of Georgia held a workshop for the aquatic conservation community in the southeastern US on Monday, September 14, 2020. We would also like to thank the Water Center at Tennessee Tech University and private donors to the Tennessee Aquarium for their support of this project.
This webpage includes video recordings of the sessions, chat transcripts, as well as supplemental material that was mentioned. Filming of the webinar began approximately 10 minutes into the introduction. The video and chat transcript for Breakout Groups 1 and 3 have been combined into a single session. Due to low interest, Breakout Group 6 was canceled, and all attendees moved to Breakout Group 5.
