For his latest giant screen film, Wings Over Water 3D, director Andrew Young sought to bring new insights and unusual perspectives to North America’s prairie wetlands, one of the continent’s most biologically rich landscapes and a can’t-miss destination for millions of birds. In this one-on-one chat, Young talks about the wetlands’ glacial origins, navigating hurricanes when you only weigh as much as three sheets of paper and using 3D to make duck poop more impactful.
Wings Over Water 3D is currently playing at the Tennessee Aquarium IMAX 3D Theater.
