Introducing a bumpy-skinned expert at camouflage

In honor of Amphibian Week and celebrating Global Passport Program’s new emphasis on the world’s largest continent, Asia, we’d like to introduce an amphibian of utmost skill and repute, the Vietnamese Mossy Frog.

This bumpy-skinned species blends perfectly into the mossy, rocky outcrops of Vietnam and China. At the Aquarium, lucky visitors can spot every stage of this amphibian’s complicated life cycle (assuming they can find them, of course) in its exhibit in the Rivers of the World gallery!
