Did you know that April is National Gardening Month? While our animals get a lot of the attention, the aquarium is home to an abundance of plants that make each exhibit feel THAT much closer to wild spaces. Of course, just like the animals, keeping all that vegetation happy requires a lot of work (not to mention a green thumb or two)! Join us for a typical morning with our horticulturist as he tends to our galleries so the day’s visitors feel like they’ve wandered into misty mountain coves and lush tropical oases!
