The Tennessee Aquarium is a proud participant in Museums for All, a national access program that encourages people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly.
If you receive SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits, you are eligible to visit the Aquarium for a discounted price of $5 per ticket (up to four tickets) through the Museums for All program.
How to get tickets
Bring your valid SNAP EBT card and matching state government-issued photo ID to the Ticketing Center in the Aquarium plaza (located across from the Aquarium with a blue awning above the doors).

Pricing
- Aquarium admission: $5 each for the cardholder and up to three of their guests. SNAP EBT cardholder must accompany guests to tour. Children ages 4 and younger are admitted free of charge.
- The purchase of additional Aquarium tickets (over the four total allowed through the Museums for All program) will be the regular general admission price, currently priced as follows: Adult – $39.95; Youth (5-17 years old) – $29.95.
- Admission to IMAX 45-minute documentary films: $5 each.
- The Museums for All program discount does not apply to IMAX Hollywood films.
What to know before your visit
- Discounted tickets must be purchased in person at the Aquarium’s River Place ticketing center (1 Broad St.) to receive reduced prices. Purchases are not available online.
- Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards may not be used for payment.
- There is a limit of up to four people: the SNAP EBT cardholder and three other people.
- Tickets are non-transferable and the SNAP EBT cardholder must accompany guests to tour.
- Guests visiting through Museums for All are welcome during all regular Aquarium operating hours and days. However, please note: The Tennessee Aquarium operates on a timed entry system. Tickets for entry time slots may sell out on busy weekends or holidays.
