Aquarium Membership Updates!

Thank you for being a Tennessee Aquarium Member!

We have updated our online ticketing system and are excited to transition to digital membership cards! Your membership details have been moved over to our new system. Now, you will be able to access your member card digitally AND purchase discounted Member tickets to IMAX, special events, experiences, and more!

 

What changes should I expect with this new system? 

Your membership card will now be available by email, and you can also save it to your Apple or Google Wallet.

With your new digital membership, you can:

  • View your membership expiration date, easily renew your membership, and even set up auto-renew.
  • Access discounted guest tickets, special events, and discounted tickets to both IMAX documentaries and Hollywood films. Deluxe Members/River Society can access their complimentary IMAX documentary tickets online as well.
  • Scan in easily without needing printed membership cards! You will simply show your digital card (through your digital wallet or email), along with a photo ID of the primary or secondary member and any named guests.

 

How do I access my new digital membership card?

Step 1:  You can easily access your new online membership card here! <https://tickets.tnaqua.org/user/forgot-membership> Enter the email address for the primary member and your new card will be sent straight to your inbox.

  • Please note that only 1 email address can be associated with a membership in this new system. If you need help determining which email address we have for you, please contact us!

Step 2: Once you receive your digital membership card by email, you will see a “Forgot Password” link. Select this link to create a password for your new online account.

Step 3: Visit our ticketing page anytime and select Member Login. Log in using this email address and your new password. Once logged in, you can purchase discounted tickets to IMAX documentaries, Hollywood films, special events, and more!

 

What if I preferred my printed membership cards? 

To be as environmentally friendly as possible, we are encouraging all of our members to access their new Membership Cards digitally. This option is not only more sustainable but also more convenient, as you can save your card to your Apple or Google wallet.   You can, however, print your membership QR code from your email if you prefer a printed copy.

 

Why must I show my photo ID? 

As Memberships are non-transferable, our previous system took and stored photos of each primary and secondary member for Member verification. For privacy reasons, ticketing systems are moving away from storing photos, and member-based organizations like ours are beginning to validate memberships using a photo ID. Beginning November 18th, specified primary and secondary members and named guests must show a valid photo ID along with their digital membership card each time they visit.  We recommend taking a photo of your ID so that you can easily pull it up along with your digital Membership Card.

 

What if something is incorrect with my online account? 

We hope that everything is correct and up to date when you log into your new online account. However, as with all new things, sometimes mistakes are made!  If your account looks incorrect or there seems to be missing information, please reach out and let us know! We will happily take a look and get things fixed. We sincerely appreciate your patience, as transitioning to a new system is no small undertaking.

 

When will this change take place? 

Our team is diligently working behind the scenes to migrate over to this new ticketing system!  You can create an account and log in as a member right now, and we encourage you to do so! Beginning Monday, November 18th, your current physical Membership cards will no longer be valid. You will need to use your new digital membership card to scan in the building. If you have not had a chance to access your new digital Membership Card yet, no worries! Our Member Services team will be onsite and ready to help you access your new cards and answer any questions you may have!
