Start your Aquarium adventure today! Follow the simple steps below to convert your ticket into a membership:
Step 1: Hang on to your tickets and receipt. We will need to scan them or have access to the bar code number on each ticket you wish to upgrade.
Step 2: Visit Member Services in the River Journey building, the Ticketing Center, or contact our membership team (423-267-3474 or email@example.com) within 60 days of the original purchase date to setup your new membership.
Step 3: Get ready to dive in! Your membership will give you access to unlimited Aquarium visits for an entire year!
Q: How many tickets can I upgrade at once?
A: Our upgrade policy is one-for-one. The value of each ticket type (adult and child) may only be applied to a corresponding ticket type contained within the membership.
You may use the following number of tickets per membership level:
Dual Membership – Up to two adult Aquarium tickets
Family Membership – Up to two adult Aquarium tickets and up to five child Aquarium tickets
Dual Deluxe Membership – Up to two adult Aquarium and two IMAX Tickets
Family Deluxe Membership – Up to two adult Aquarium and two IMAX tickets with up to five child Aquarium and five IMAX tickets.
*Extra adult Aquarium tickets may be upgraded to add a guest option to any membership level
Q: What happens if I lose my tickets?
A: If you have the receipt given at time of purchase, we will be able to locate the original transaction and complete the upgrade.
Q: My ticket has does not have a price listed on it or it says “complimentary”. Can I still upgrade this ticket to a membership?
A: No. In order to upgrade a ticket, there must be a value listed on the ticket.
