The most memorable part of the guest experience is often the interactions they have with people along the way.
Guest Ambassadors will have the extremely important role of supporting our guests by answering basic questions, giving directions, and recommending activities in a helpful and enthusiastic manner. They will refer more difficult inquiries to Guest Services staff.

- Delta Country in the River Journey building
- By the exit of the Penguins’ Rock exhibit
- By the exit of the Ocean Journey building
- On the Aquarium Plaza (outside grounds)
Qualificationsadd
Guest Ambassadors should:
- Be prompt and reliable
- Be at least 16 years old
- Committed to sharing the Aquarium’s mission to connect people with nature and empower them to make informed decisions about water and wildlife.
- Must be comfortable speaking with individuals and groups of all ages and backgrounds
- Outgoing and approachable
- Have strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service
- Fluency in a second language is a plus
Duties & Responsibilitiesadd
- Welcome our first-time and returning guests
- Assist with guest wayfinding and planning
- Provide assistance and general information to guests
- Help guests locate our programs and dive shows
- Provide safety reminders
Trainingadd
Training will take place during your first 2 or 3 scheduled days.
Shiftsadd
Available to work one 4 hour shift each week or every other week
Commitmentadd
Commit to a minimum of 3 months, with 8 hours of volunteer time per month
