Plaza Volunteers help care for and maintain the landscape surrounding the Aquarium.

Work Area

• Landscape surrounding Tennessee Aquarium (The Plaza / Ross’s Landing)

Qualifications

Plaza volunteers should:

• Be prepared to get wet and dirty
• Have good agility – moderate lifting, walking, bending
• Be prepared to work in outdoor conditions
• Ability to work in team environments

Duties & Responsibilities

• Watering (irrigation valves, watering cans and hoses)
• Weeding
• Pruning

Training

• Hands on training

Shifts

• Shifts are offered Monday – Friday
• Shift time 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Commitment

• Commit to six months of service
