Did you know? Chattanooga is home to the world’s first Coca-Cola Bottling Company. Originally located at 17 Market Street in Downtown Chattanooga, the bottling operations moved to 201 Broad Street (“The Coke Building”) shortly after the turn of the century. It remained there through 1970 when the operations moved a few miles NE of downtown. The 2^nd & Broad Street Coca-Cola bottling plant was very modern for its time. In 1937, this facility was producing more than 1.3 million cases of Coca-Cola per year.
