Plaza Volunteers help care for and maintain the landscape surrounding the Aquarium.
Work Area
· Landscape surrounding Tennessee Aquarium (The Plaza / Ross’s Landing)
Qualifications
Plaza volunteers should:
· Be prepared to get wet and dirty
· Have good agility – moderate lifting, walking, bending
· Be prepared to work in outdoor conditions
· Ability to work in team environments
Duties & Responsibilities
· Watering (irrigation valves, watering cans and hoses)
· Weeding
· Pruning
Training
· Hands on training
Shifts
· Shifts are offered Monday – Friday
· Shift time 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Commitment
· Commit to six months of service
