Working with farmers to save one of America's most-endangered fish

Thanks to a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), the Tennessee Aquarium is encouraging farmers to adopt agricultural techniques (the use of cover crops and rentable crimpers) that will keep waterways clear and runoff from fields. This effort will directly serve to safeguard the last remaining streams that host the Laurel Dace, considered by biologists to be one of the most at-risk fish in North America.
