Butterfly Garden

Enter a warm, light-filled gallery, where aromatic blooms and a cascading waterfall set the stage for a mid-air ballet by more than 1,000 butterflies. These beautiful insects gently alight on branches, pedals and, occasionally, visitors as they fly freely. More than two dozen species are on display — all sustainably raised on Costa Rican farms — and a window offers views of newly arrived chrysalises and recently emerged butterflies.
